The SHJ Series single element filter housing is constructed of 304 SS construction with an easy-to-use ring nut closure and reliable double O-ring seal. Each filter housing accepts one double open end (DOE) Big Blue filter, utilizing a knife-edge seal. These housings are designed to comply with NSF-ANSI Standard 42 for drinking water aesthetic effects.
Model SHJ-10-1 accepts 4.5 inch diameter Big Blue filters. The spring-loaded bottom seal provides flexibility for cartridge lengths of 9.75 to 10 inches. Each filter housing is supplied with a mounting bracket and a special torquing tool to assist with ring nut closure. This model does not include a differential pressure gauge.
- 304 SS cast head includes two EPDM O-ring seals

- Maximum pressure for hot water at 140⁰ F / 60⁰ C is 150 PSIG
