The SH Series single element filter housing is constructed of 304 SS construction with an easy-to-use ring nut closure and reliable double O-ring seal. Each filter housing accepts one double open end (DOE) filter, utilizing a knife-edge seal.
Model SH-10 accepts filters from 2.5 to 2.75-inch diameter. The spring-loaded bottom seal provides flexibility for cartridge lengths of 9.75 to 10 inches. Each filter housing is supplied with a zinc plated steel mounting bracket and a special torquing tool to assist with ring nut closure. This model does not include a differential pressure gauge.
- 304 SS cast head includes two EPDM O-ring seals
- ¾ inch NPT inlet and outlet ports
- ¼ inch FNPT drain connection
- 200 PSIG / 13.8 Bar maximum pressure
- 200⁰ F / 97⁰ C maximum temperature
- Maximum pressure for hot water at 140⁰ F / 60⁰ C is 150 PSIG
- Piping and shut-off valves are by others
- String wound or melt blown DOE cartridges are sold separately
- Replacement EPDM or Viton O-ring seals are sold separately
