Melt blown cartridges are an economical solution for depth filtration with high dirt holding capacity and are rated to 180 degrees F. Melt blown sediment cartridges have a gradient density design where the innermost fibers form a tight self-supporting matrix, which eliminates the need for a separate center core. The filters are designed with double open ends (DOE) for knife edge seal housings without the use of gaskets or seals. These sediment cartridges are made entirely of FDA CFR 177.1520 compliant polypropylene, providing excellent chemical compatibility. Applications include prefiltration, chemical processing, oil and gas, cooling fluids, inks and coatings, and more.
All melt blown filters are individually shrink wrapped.
Additional micron ratings and lengths are available from Midwest Filter, as well as a variety of end cap styles. Contact us for more information.
