DWCC 5-micron carbon water filter cartridges utilize a filter medium composed of cellulose-free coconut carbon impregnated polyester. These DWCF filters are available in the most popular sizes including 2.5 inch OD and 4.5 inch OD to fit Big Blue housings, with a rigid 1” ID polypropylene core. They are constructed with double open ends (DOE) including standard plastisol end caps in a variety of lengths. Midwest Filter’s carbon water filter cartridges are compatible with a wide range of liquids such as plating solutions, as well as capturing sediment down to 5 micron. Other applications include removal of certain organic compounds, oils, and other impurities.
All DWCF carbon filters are individually shrink wrapped.
